Welcome to the second generation of Sea-rch (SEA-research) Sales, Marketing, & Media Planning software. Sea-rch users will recognize that our new 'visual version' differs significantly from earlier Sea-rch systems. New users, with only modest demographic analysis and Yellow Pages media planning experience will find that Sea-rch is intuitive and readily self-taught. Indeed, we suggest that new users "surf" the software before reading the User's Guide. You can then use this guide to learn more about the capabilities and intricacies of the Sea-rch system.
Sea-rch programs and databases will help you devise more effective marketing and sales strategies and develop more efficient media plans. The Sea-rch system has been designed to meet several specific user needs; (1) It's a reference and analysis tool, so that you can find facts and figures quickly and effortlessly for any ZIP Code, yellow pages directory, county, metro area, TV market, or state. (2) You can use Sea-rch to identify and prioritize markets, both quantitatively and qualitatively, within larger trading areas. (3) Sea-rch is also a reporting tool, providing the user with a straightforward means of preparing presentation quality reports, charts, maps, and databases |

New Features
New to visual Sea-rch are several user suggested features and functions. These include, but are not limited to: Installation Wizard: Sea-rch is now self-installing and provides cues for custom installation. SAVE/RECALL function: Sea-rch users may now SAVE a formatted report and RECALL that report at any time. This function saves report specifications in a user-defined library and facilitates the RECALL of report parameters so that the report can be reproduced or amended.
BACK/NEXT function: By clicking on the JUMP function: Each of the Icons/Buttons below simplifies navigation through the Sea-rch system. You may 'jump' from one step to any other by clicking any of these tool bar buttons. The appropriate means of exiting Sea-rch is by clicking the EXIT button. Exiting in this way clears counters and files and facilitates re-opening Sea-rch at a later time.
